We Return! Part2

After a few months of testing both in person and at local board game stores, we realized that for our game, which can easily take over 100 minutes per session, our methods could not get us accurate feedback. People suggested to shorten the game and we took that into consideration. Certainly, shortening the game would make things easier. It would make a print and play possible, make testing faster, and appeal to more people. So, why not just make the game shorter? To put it simply, after endless hours of internal testing, we decided that the goals we had for this game do not align with that suggestion. We wanted to create a game with deep mechanics and meaningful decision making. We chose to stick with that goal. We did, however, make compromises.
